About this product

A Japanese-made spinning reel built around Daiwa’s AirDrive concept. It has a magnesium monocoque MQ body, MagSealed body, ZAION AirDrive rotor, CNC-machined Tough Digigear, AirDrive shaft, AirDrive spool and bail, Twist Buster III line roller, Infinite Anti-Reverse and ATD Type-L drag. The reel has 12 ball bearings, including 10 CRBB and 2 MagSealed bearings. The 2000 size has an I-shaped handle. The lighter rotor, spool and bail are designed to support smooth rotation and reduce start-up resistance. Compared with the 18 Exist, the AirDrive bail is 33% lighter. Twist Buster III is designed to reduce line twist.
