About this product

The Daiwa BG is a fixed-spool reel for saltwater and freshwater fishing, including fishing for large fish such as catfish. Its aluminium HARDBODYZ® body supports the DIGIGEAR® II drive system. Features include 6 ball bearings, an AIR ROTOR®, Infinite Anti-Reverse®, an ATD™ drag system and an ABS® II aluminium spool with an anti-slip ring. The reel also has a Twist Buster® II line roller and an aluminium handle with an ergonomic soft-touch knob. From size 4500, the BG has a manual bail trip. Its no-paint finish is designed to resist chipping in saltwater and under heavy use.
