About this product

A bite alarm with a sealed waterproof case, digital circuitry and D-Tec Plus Sensing System. It has a CNC-machined Tru-Run roller, dual multicolour LEDs in red, green, blue, orange, purple and white, and manual day and night modes. Volume, tone and sensitivity each have 8 settings; the lowest volume setting is silent. Vari-Bright provides 3 LED brightness levels in day mode and 3 in night mode. The alarm uses 2 AA batteries and has a 2.5 mm output socket for illuminated swingers, a stainless-steel 3/8 in thread and rubber rod inserts. Low battery is indicated by a cyan LED. A range test checks the alarm-to-receiver transmission. Sensitivity settings (line movement): Level 1: 90 mm; Level 2: 73 mm; Level 3: 56 mm; Level 4: 34 mm; Level 5: 17 mm; Level 6: 11 mm; Level 7: 5.6 mm; Level 8: 2.8 mm. At settings 1-7, line must travel the specified distance in the same direction for at least 2 seconds to trigger; movement in the opposite direction resets the distance counter.
