About this product

Hollow pole elastic supplied in 3 m lengths in a sealed bag that protects it from light. The listed sizes are 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15; the range is described as spanning sizes 7 to 19, including strengths from 9H to 19H. A 13H rating corresponds to normal elastic strength between 12 and 14. The manufacturing process means lubricant does not need to be added inside the elastic. Size 7 is described as suitable for commercial silverfish, skimmers, bream, winter F1 fishing, and smaller species such as roach, perch and bream in lakes, canals and rivers. For playing carp with large-diameter elastics over size 10 or Hollo, the pole tip may need to be cut back or the number 1 section removed. The tip should not bend too much, as the elastic may stick inside it. A cut-back tip may require an XL internal bush or a Slip Stretch external bush; an internal or external Stretch Slip Bush can also be fitted to the number 2 section.
